Camerawaali
Vaydehi known as Camerawaali is a visual artist who chose photography as a medium of expression. She held a camera at the age of thirteen and knew it would be her whole life. She started training under a photographer at a very young age and by the time she was seventeen she knew that photography was her calling. And since then, there has been no looking back for her. Her images are an extension of her, like her camera. Vaydehi has completed her Masters in Photography and Digital Imaging from Mumbai and Specialization in Documentary Art Photography from Madrid,Spain. She has been a part of various Artist-in-Residence programs in Italy and has been associated with cinematography and commercial work in Mumbai. Vaydehi is constantly looking for an image that speaks to her. Her idea is not to make pretty pictures but weave stories through her work.
